The Challenge
Japan Airlines came to us to help raise awareness of Okinawa, a relatively unknown area in Japan amongst a European audience (UK & France).
JAL had partnered with two exclusive travel agents to offer a ‘once in a lifetime’ package holiday to Japan – including a stop in Okinawa.
We were tasked to utilise influencers to raise awareness of Okinawa and the trips, however there was no capacity to send influencers to the location.
The Solution
For this brief, authenticity was key, but how could we make content feel authentic without sending talent on the trip?
We worked to source influencers in the UK and France who had either been to Japan or Okinawa in the past. That way, all content felt authentic and lent itself to the brand.
