The Challenge

Increase volume of sales and revenue through Meta with an overall goal of improving efficiency (ROAS) of the channel.

The Solution

As part of the ongoing optimisations to improve ROAS from Meta advertising spend we launched a new campaign type, Advantage+ Shopping. We were one of the first to market with this campaign type in January 2023. 

The campaigns are segmented across prospecting and retargeting; we launched this new campaign type in the prospecting segment alongside our non-dynamic advantage+ shopping campaign which was targeting 1% lookalikes. 

This approach allowed us to be fluid in budget optimisation based on the results of the approach and allocate additional budget in the Advantage+ Shopping campaign in subsequent months. 

Performance continued to improve over the quarter and the ROAS was highest in the Advantage+ Shopping campaign; in February +155% and in March +88%. 

We extended this strategy across Retargeting campaigns based on the positive results in Prospecting campaign.
