Quality Spirits International (QSI), the world’s leading private label Scotch supplier, required a compelling brand story and visual identity for its Irish whiskey, Kilbrin. With only the bottle and name as a starting point, the objective was to develop a distinctive narrative and design that would resonate with distributors and stand out in the competitive whiskey category.
We created a rich brand story inspired by an Irish legend of buried Danish gold, giving Kilbrin a sense of heritage, intrigue and authenticity. This narrative became the foundation for the brand’s identity and positioning.
To support the story, we developed a visual identity rooted in traditional Irish symbolism, incorporating classic Celtic green tones and illustrative elements that brought the legend to life. The key visual featured artwork depicting the story’s themes, helping reinforce the brand narrative across packaging and marketing materials.
We also developed the headline “Liquid Gold from Irish Soul”, connecting the storytelling directly to the product and reinforcing its premium, heritage-inspired positioning.
