The 22nd Edition of BrightonSEO has come and gone. The SEO team from Threepipe Reply travelled to Brighton to join the 3,500+ attendees from over 40 countries at the world’s biggest search marketing event which takes place twice a year at the venue right in front of Brighton’s beautiful sea front. The atmosphere was lively and busy with everyone trying to attend as many sessions as possible, while meeting fellow SEOs and having a good chat.
Some of the best experts in the SEO field came together to offer their thoughts and expertise on many topics that revolve around the exciting and fast-changing world of SEO. Luckily, after being held online in 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic, BrightonSEO is yet again an in-person event.
The team got the chance to attend multiple sessions about the Future of SEO, international SEO, how to get the best results from the SERP and anticipating search intent, insights on how to prevent ad fraud on PPC and Paid Social and how to best manage expectations with ‘impossible keywords’.
A particularly interesting session, part of three international focused sessions, was held by the Chinese marketer Grace Wei Hou with the topic ‘How to leverage SEO & other channels to expand into the Chinese market with a limited budget’. By highlighting the differences between the search engines Google and Baidu she showed valuable examples on how to approach the Chinese market according to the available budget and what channels to focus on.
Thank you to the Brighton SEO team for organizing this great event, we’re looking forward to attending the next one in October!
