Senior Programmatic Specialist

Reports to

Operations Director


The Role:

  • Responsible for day to day management of display campaigns via third-party traders for a range of clients, working towards pre-defined goals and optimising budget and strategies against KPIs; conversions / revenue (90%) and Brand / softer targets (10%)
  • Running external (3rd party) supplier campaigns and advising on strategy, making optimisation suggestions.
  • Managing tech relationships for programmatic
  • Reporting back to the Account Manager’s and Director on performance of campaigns in Excel and keeping them abreast of changes and optimisations made on those campaigns. Generate and analyse advanced daily/weekly/monthly reports and highlight insights
  • Research & setting up client campaigns across display/programmatic and within 3rd party Adservers from scratch
  • Defining requirements, tracking implementation and ad server integration with bid management tools
  • Troubleshooting tracking and set-up issues within all buying platforms and adserver.
  • Managing relationship with our brand safety partner
  • Plan and forecast performance according to the trends and seasonality

  • Troubleshoot and resolve all internal and external issues associated with ad campaigns
  • Commercially minded and practical in setup ideas



  • 1.5 years minimum managing and optimising (hands on keyboard) prospecting and retargeting campaigns working towards clients goals of CPA / ROI
  • Working knowledge of a range of DSPs (e.g. BrightRoll)
  • Previous exposure to the use of third party tracking to execute, monitor and optimise campaigns towards these goals
  • Experience with Adservers and Tracking technologies
  • Experience of setting up and maintaining client reports in excel
  • Understanding of latest trends & technology



  • Preferable DSP experience Amobee, Appnexus, DV360, BrightRoll
  • Experience using analytical tools such as Google Analytics
  • Experience working with multiple clients that work towards different KPIs
  • Experience in other channels (Paid Search, Paid Social)



A degree with a minimum of a 2:1 classification, ideally in a science, business or marketing vertical or part of an agency internship program.
