Launching a creative space for influencers with Clydesdale Bank
Research commissioned by Clydesdale’s new challenger bank brand ‘B Works’ showed that local start-ups with strong a strong social presence are more likely to succeed in the first year.
We designed and built a social content studio at the B Works high street branch in Manchester which offered local start-ups a place to drop in, get creative and develop content to build out their social footprint.
We partnered with local business influencer and entrepreneur Steven Bartlett to build the studio to offer state of the art video and podcasting capabilities. We launched the space by offering Steven for 1-2-1 advice sessions with start-ups as well as with local and national press.
We worked with wider local Manchester influencers who were invited to a launch event where they created their own guided tours of the bank and content studio.
Since launch the social studio has been in hot demand and helped to position B Works as a start-up friendly challenger bank. It is frequently used by local businesses, and most recently The One Show used it for their own filming.
Results:
- 1M+ reach from influencer stories
- Social studio fully booked for two months from launch
- Broadcast coverage on the BBC and ITV within the first month of opening
