We worked with Panasonic UK to improve natural search rankings of its Lumix range of compact digital cameras on the Curry’s website to drive incremental sales.
Following a content audit, our Digital Shelf Optimisation (DSO) team analysed and chose 19 SKUs out of the 25 Lumix product range to focus upon. These were products whose product page content needed improving to be better indexed by the Curry’s search algorithm.
Over a period of two weeks we optimised all text and video across the product pages to improve search visibility and also built out a supporting traffic plan to drive new customers to those pages from outside of the Curry’s site.
We then used our monitoring tools to track competitor pricing and promotions to create a more dynamic pricing approach.
Results (within six weeks):
- 8% increase in monthly sales
- 15% average increase in ranking position for the term ‘compact digital camera’
