As part of an ongoing relationship across a number of services with Gulf Oil International and partner, McLaren Automotive, we have managed and delivered a number of high-profile global photo and video shoots for the brand. This includes recent shoots (photography and videography) in Dubai, Monaco, The French Riviera, Singapore, the UK and South Africa.

The Challenge
2024’s campaign looked to celebrate the renewal of a partnership of the brands, to be leveraged by global markets (from Europe, Asia, the Middle East, South America and Africa) across a number of printed and digital touchpoints.
The Solution
We conducted a week-long shoot in Cape Town and the surrounding area. This involved management of all local permits, equipment, insurances, models (and model release forms), shipping of equipment – through to content capture, art direction and editing of all final assets (photography and videography). We managed multiple stakeholders from Gulf and McLaren Automotive to create a campaign that has been hugely successful for both companies.
We created a comprehensive toolkit for both Gulf and McLaren Automotive to use in regional markets. This included a range of video assets, static visuals, offline print materials, and social media post copy.
Results
- YouTube VTR: Maintained a high View-Through Rate (VTR) of 92%, indicating strong engagement with our target audience
- Ad Recall: 5.5% uplift on Meta in India.
